| Important Events Country & Bluegrass Concert at Historic Barnegat Church to Benefit Needy Families
Jim Murphy is an award winning songwriter and musician, and his “Pine Barons” group is acclaimed as one of the best traditional music groups in the state.
All proceeds from this concert will be used towards “family hardship relief” to aid families in distress and needing assistance in Barnegat and surrounding communities. Donations are $10 per adult. Tickets can be obtained by calling (609) 698-3358, and some should also be available for purchase at the door on concert day.
For those who arrive early, additional entertainment will be provided immediately prior to the main show by “Wrighteous”, Wright Memorial's own five member music group (guitars, banjo and mandolin) playing a combination of country, gospel and “old time sing-a-long” music.
